Martin Hyndman
As Director of Research Technology Programs, Martin works closely with Thomson Reuters global technology and business partners to promote and facilitate new Research projects across the organization. Martin has many years of experience in the publishing industry having started as a London Fleet Street book publisher in the late 80s. He regularly promoted art classics through the cover designs of his books on architecture.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry and a teaching certificate of education from Nottingham Trent University UK; a masters degree in education from the Open University UK.
He is an active member of Cimarron Rowing Club and coaches new novice members from the Lake Elmo, Minnesota community. He is passionate about travel and taking time to appreciate local cultures.
Tania Hyndman
A native of the Russia Republic, Tania has long had an interest in central European and Asian art particularly those expressing religious and cultural belief systems that have changed over the centuries with political and military events.
John Fonder
John Fonder is a senior patent attorney, the Managing Partner of Christensen Fonder, P.A. His intellectual property practice includes U.S. and international patent prosecution and litigation in many technology areas, including electronics, telecommunications, medical devices, computer architecture and software and general mechanical arts. John also counsels clients on trademark acquisition and enforcement, IP portfolio management and licensing strategies.
When it comes to assisting clients who are expanding into international markets, John has the advantage of first-hand knowledge, particularly when it comes to Asian markets. John has spent considerable time living and working in China and Taiwan, and maintains close relationships in academic, business and legal circles in those countries, among others. John serves as a visiting professor for the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, lecturing on intellectual-property topics, US-China comparative law and legal research.
Rob Hafiz
Rob Hafiz brings 20+ years of planning, marketing and managing experience to his position as Vice President, Business Development. As co-owner and Vice President of Federal Publications Seminars, and in various roles at several national legal publishing houses, Rob managed strategic relations and alliances with attorney organizations, law school faculty and law firm management. He also has deep connections with C-Level and marketing executives in corporations focusing in government contracting and global technology. His most recent experience has focused on Asian-U.S. business opportunities. He excels at forming lasting, mutually-beneficial relationships.
A native of St. Paul, MN, Rob has a BA from the University of St. Thomas.
